Teen Mom 3 Star Mackenzie Douthit McKee Crashes New Car!

Sad news to report about Teen Mom 3's Mackenzie Douthit. She was reportedly involved car accident over the weekend and it looks like her diabetes may have caused it.

According to TMZ, Mackenzie Douthit, who had just purchased a 2013 Kia Sorento a couple of days ago, was involved in a scary car accident, which landed her in a ditch.

Source close to Mackenzie tell TMZ, the MTV star was driving on Oklahoma highway allegedly with sky high blood sugars when all of the sudden she "zoned out" causing her to swerve off the road. Reports suggest the vehicle was totaled.

Luckily for Mackenzie, her children weren't with her on Saturday as she managed to escape the accident unharmed. Bad news though... Mackenzie didn't have car insurance and as reports reveal, it's possible she's on the hook for paying the entire $26k owed!

Sources also tell TMZ, the reality star did get a ticket for no car insurance, and while it not going to help her now, it's been mentioned she's planning on calling today to get coverage.

    It says she is planning on calling getting insurance coverage....how can she get coverage after she totaled a vehicle? That's what I don't understand.

    Btw when I bought my 43k dollar car I called my insurance company that same day before I even got my keys to transfer it to the new car. Using your brain. And I'm a mom of 4.
