Adam Lind Speaks Out About Ex-Chelsea Houska Wanting To Change Their Daughter's Last Name!

Teen Mom 2 Chelsea Houska wants to change her daughter Aubree's last name or have it hyphenated to Lind-DeBoer, so that she will have the same last name as her when she marries fiance Cole DeBoer later this year. But according to Aubree's father, Adam Lind, he won't let it happen!

According to The StarGlam reports, Adam Lind has been relatively quiet about the rumored name change until now.

In the report it reads, "Adam is 100% not going to let this happen. He told us that Aubree will ALWAYS be Aubree Lind, and nothing was going to change that."

As fans may recall, during an episode of Teen Mom 2, Houska

expressed how she doesn’t want her daughter’s last name to be Lind.

“After we’re married and have kids, we’re all obviously going to have the same last name,” Houska told DeBoer, “It’s just going to suck that Aubree… it’s almost like something is separating us because we’re going to have different last names. I want her to be a part of our family.”When Cole agreed that he didn't want Aubree to feel left out, Houska suggested hyphenating her last name to Lind-DeBoer.

Tell us your thoughts! Do you agree with Chelsea wanting to change Aubree's last name?

  1. My oldest son is 8 years old and carries my maiden name. I don't believe that changing the name is a very big deal to him he would rather keep it. For he is named after my dad. I just think the name doesn't Define the child and who the child grows up to be.

  2. That's something you have to think about before you get pregnant young or even out of wedlock or even when married bc people do divorce. She will have a different last name but she will not be loved any less bc of that. She has rights to her biological father's name bc what if things don't work with Cole then she will have a random last name.
