In a sneak peek clip, Catelynn and Tyler meet up with their adoption counselor, Dawn, at a local restaurant. During the conversation, Catelynn brings up to Dawn that the adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa, hasn't been responding to her text messages regarding their once a year visit to see their daughter Carly.
Catelynn tells Dawn, “I just want to talk to her physically on the phone and just say, even if we come up there, even if we come up to you guys, it’s just for a day and brunch the next morning.”
After Dawn presents Catelynn and Tyler with the adoption paper from 2009 which states they signed their rights away to an "ongoing face to face " visit. Dawn then explains to Catelynn that it's at the adoptive parent's discretion to decide what's in the best interest of Carly. Catelynn breaks into tears telling Dawn. “It’s just f‑‑king frustrating because I was 16 years old when I made this f‑‑king decision.”
