Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry Exposes Dark Family Secrets in Shocking Memoir!

Followers of MTV's Teen Mom 2 will certainly recognize Kailyn lowry, a mother to five with a set of twins expected in 2024. Kailyn's intricate relationship with her parents unfolds on the show, with particular focus on her mother in 16 & Pregnant and hints of her connection with her father. In 2024, Kailyn unveiled that she had sent her father a paternity test.

Star of Teen Mom 2, Kailyn Lowry, has parental uncertainties. During January 2024, she shared a video on her Instagram Stories, revealing she had dispatched a DNA testing kit to her father, Raymond Lowry, to verify their biological connection.

“I just sent my father DNA kits, and I’ll keep you posted,” Kailyn told her followers on Instagram, according to a clip posted to Reddit. “I messaged him, and I was like, ‘Hey, I sent you DNA kits.’ So, keep in mind, I only met him one time, so we’re gonna see how this goes.”

Kailyn didn’t maintain a relationship with her father after meeting him in the past. She visited him in Texas in 2009 when she was pregnant with her son, Isaac. Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t go well. Raymond criticized Kailyn for getting pregnant and asked to borrow money from her. He later criticized how MTV portrayed him.

“I was on the show too, and they made me look bad,” he wrote on Facebook, according to The Sun. “I know what you mean about shouldn’t have to defend yourself.”

He added that he doesn’t think 16 & Pregnant or Teen Mom should exist. “I personally don’t think that show is good for young girls to watch,” Raymond wrote. “I think it gives them the wrong idea about being a parent so young among other things. … It’s just a bad show I think.”

Kailyn called her father a “f***ing joke” in response. “No, that’s a f***ing joke,” she wrote. “Don’t even start this s***. You haven’t been around or tried with either of us nor paid child support, so get the f*** outta here.”

Kailyn Lowry, star of Teen Mom 2, recounted a deep sense of disappointment upon meeting her father, Raymond Lowry, for the first time. She opened up about this experience in her memoir, Pride Over Pity, revealing that Raymond was physically different from how she had pictured, sporting a mullet, missing teeth and shorter stature than she expected. She also discovered his dishonesty about his residence - a small hut instead of the cozy two-bedroom house he claimed.

A breaking point for Kailyn was when Raymond asked her for money to purchase a Dunkin' Donuts meal, while she was a pregnant teenager - she described this as the final straw.

In her book, Kailyn also delved into her early years, revealing that she was a sickly infant, suffering from pneumonia. Instead of seeking medical attention as promised, her father took her from Pennsylvania to Texas allegedly to raise her by himself. However, her mother aggressively pursued Raymond, employing detectives and legal professionals, and managed to reclaim her.

Teen Mom Star's Shocking Announcement: No More Babies, But Adoption Is On Table!

The stars of the Teen Mom franchise have been making waves this week, with a particular focus on growing families and maintaining a balance between personal life and television fame. Here's a catch up on the biggest updates from the Teen Mom OG and Teen Mom 2 news.

The most noteworthy revelation comes from Kail, former 'Teen Mom 2' star, who has declared that her days of giving birth to her own children have come to an end. Following the birth of her seven children over the last 15 years, Kail has stated she is no longer planning on expanding her family biologically. However, she is open to bringing new members into her family through fostering or adoption.

In a recent episode of her 'Barely Famous' podcast, Kail spoke candidly about her future family plans, stating that she has closed the chapter on pregnancies. She acknowledges that her partner, Elijah Scott, may still wish to have more biological children, but Kail believes that their family has room to grow through adopting or fostering children in need.

She stated, “The journey of pregnancy is over for me, and I am secure in that decision. It's been a 15-year journey now. I've loved it, and I appreciate the opportunity, but it's time to move on.”

Kail also opened up about the possibility of fostering children, highlighting that the experience would provide a different type of fulfilment for her family.

Moreover, Kail has no intention of using IVF to have another child, citing the physical and emotional toll it takes as her main reason. She expressed a stronger interest in exploring alternatives such as adoption, fostering, or surrogacy.

Kail has already started discussing the concept of adopting a child with her existing children. She recalled a recent conversation with them about potentially adopting a toddler, expressing that there is a particular need for homes for children beyond infancy since most people prefer to adopt babies.

Kail isn't the only 'Teen Mom' star with adoption on her mind. Maci Bookout has expressed similar desires and, while she and her husband Taylor McKinney are not currently in a position to move forward with plans to foster or adopt, they remain open to the idea in the future.

Chelsea Houska Shares Heartbreaking News

The Teen Mom sensation Chelsea Houska exhibited her vulnerability in a recent Instagram Story, almost succumbing to tears as she divulged distressing family news to her followers. Known for her candidness about her personal experiences, Houska used the social media platform to recount a traumatic experience on their farm, involving the tragic loss of a newborn goat.

Houska's spouse, Cole DeBoer, detailed the sad occurrence, informing their followers that their pregnant goat had gone into labor suddenly. Despite the best efforts of the mother goat throughout the birthing process, the newborn displayed no immediate signs of life. In a desperate bid to keep the young goat alive, DeBoer spent 20 minutes trying to resuscitate it, but to no avail. "Guess that’s life,” he said despondently, underlining the harsh realities associated with farming.

Houska, who appeared visibly upset and on the verge of tears, agreed, pointing out that while such incidents are rare, they are an inevitable aspect of life on a farm.

According to The Sun, this heartfelt disclosure came as Houska and DeBoer have been giving the public a peek into their lives, from the joyful family times to the more challenging farm duties. However, not all of their posts are as sobering. In a previous Instagram Story, Houska humorously chided her husband for neglecting to take a photo of two Basset Hounds wearing jackets at a supermarket. The recent family tragedy, however, strikes a more somber note, highlighting the unpredictable and emotionally charged aspects of owning farm animals.

Her unabashed depiction of challenging situations adds a layer of authenticity that resonates with her followers. Apart from the farm incident, Houska has also been at the center of dialogues surrounding her changing appearance on social media. Her evolving looks have sparked debate about societal expectations and personal choices.

Despite the occasional mix of heartbreaking news and appearance-related feedback, Houska continues to engage her followers by sharing the ups and downs of her life candidly. Whether it's dealing with the intricacies of farm life or maintaining family relationships, her openness allows her followers to form a deeper connection, fostering a sense of understanding and empathy.

Dad on duty! Tyler Baltierra from Teen Mom OG, hit back at social media bullies who posted impertinent comments about his one-month-old daughter, Vaeda, whom he co-parents with his wife, Catelynn Lowell.

The Instagram account of the Tierra Reign founder was filled with negative comments following a post of a cute picture of Vaeda in a onesie. One commenter wrote, “This isn’t his baby, this baby is clearly another race.” Another suggested Baltierra should “get a DNA test” to prove his paternity.

Lowell, also aged 27, chose to humorously respond to the situation by joking, “Sorry babe I cheated and Vaedas not urs #peoplearecrazy #comeon.” Nevertheless, Baltierra offered his own critique to the cyberbullies.

“I’m truly shocked at the absurd comments about my newborn," the reality TV star responded in the comments section of the post. "We live in a world filled with division, judgment, self-righteousness and unasked opinions … and these comments serve as undeniable proof.” “Mature respectfulness is expressing a strong opinion when necessary. Immature disrespectfulness is expressing a strong opinion when it’s unnecessary. Your deity knows your thoughts … but evil can only hear your spoken words.”

He concluded: “Live with love, speak with peacefulness, or you won’t find karma on your side, I assure you of that!”

A significant change has been reported in the Teen Mom franchise line-up. Ashley Jones, one of the most compelling cast members, is said to be not coming back, according to a fan page on Instagram. This unexpected development has left fans unhappy, as they express their displeasure about the departure of their favorite, while others who have been controversial remain.

One of the users suggested that Jones' exit was unfair, especially when some of her co-stars who have been involved in contentious situations continue on the show. Others expressed their sadness at not being able to follow Ashley's narrative any longer, labelling her 'truly interesting to watch.'

The U.S. Sun reveals that former MTV star Mackenzie McKee, a divorced mother of three, is stepping in to fill Jones' spot. The details of Jones' replacement were reportedly not communicated to her prior to the announcement, leaving her and her ex-husband, Bar Smith, surprised.

Ashley Jones commenced her journey in the franchise with Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant and moved on to various other spin-offs. Much of the viewers' interest in her story stemmed from her tumultuous relationship with Smith. They had a secret wedding in 2022, but due to family disagreements, suspicions of infidelity, and Smith's life choices, the relationship saw an alleged final separation. Jones, in a social media post, indicated that cheating was a contributing factor to their separation. The couple shares a daughter named Holly.
