Teen Mom OG Catelynn Lowell recently caused quite a stir among followers when she made the bold decision to share an anti-abortion post.

On Sunday reality star mom Catelynn shared this photo to her Instagram, captioning it, "Amen," The post reads, "If we are pronounced dead when our heart stops, why are we not pronounced alive when our heart starts?"

According to SheKnows, Catelynn, who opted out of having an

abortion, instead placing her first daughter Carly up for adoption nearly 6 years ago, is being heavily criticized for using a public platform such as Instagram to express her views.

According to the site, Pro-choice fans appear to be upset with Lowell's pro-life views as one commenter wrote, "While it's great that you were able to give up your first born [sic] for adoption I don't like you shoving anti-abortion propaganda on other people. Especially since the decision is never an easy choice to make...." Later another commenter weighed in saying, "Shame on you for using your platform to belittle women who choose to terminate their pregnancies within the legal bounds of abortion laws."

As some reports suggest, there's perhaps another reason why so many are disturbed by Catelynn pro-life stance, and it's because she's being looked up to by so many young teenage girls. What's your thoughts on Catelynn's post?

  2. Why is it not okay for her to express her opinion? If that's how she feels why are people belittling her for that? I find that to be a bit hypocritical.

  8. Amen! Its a very cute quote and who cares what you personally do in your life or say?! I also dont believe in abortion. If you make your bed and choose not to lie in it, then give it to someone else who will. Everyone has the right to live.

  9. Wow. Of all people to judge I didn't expect her to be the one.... she can post what she wants but do you really need to go around making people feel murderers for having an abortion within legal limits. You made your choice how about standing behind others making the same difficult decision or one that is just as heart-breaking. #everyonesstorymatters

  11. She has the right to openly express her feelings, just like she expressed on national tv when she made her choice to adopt,so whats the difference, did ppl take offence when she made her choice,a lot stood up with her and supported that her choice was smart cause she was young.I believe abortion is wrong wanna think im belittling i really dont care its my opinion just like its yours,i might like apples and you like oranges what does it matter??? if it bothers you that much look past it...seems like you want the attention for complaining!

  12. Every one has an opinion, why cant Caitlyn? She is not telling anyone else what to do, just placing a statement on a page. People need to stop trying to make something out of nothing.

  15. Everyone has the right to post their own opinions. It's called "Freedom of Speech". This is watCatelynn believes and she can express her opinion. Whether to have an abortion or not when pregnant is a very personal choice and we all have the right to our choices.

  16. Caitlyn has every right to post her views on the subject of abortion anywhere that she chooses.....the 5th amendment gave her that right...besides it is her Instagram...if you don't like what she post delete her...it is her right to give her view just as it is anyone else right to post their view saying that murdering an innocent unborn child is okay...it's not....applause to Caitlyn for standing firmly to her beliefs and for posting them bluntly. Standing ovation girl!πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌ
