Although at first it seemed Matt was clearly not the one we'd think Amber would fall in love with, when rumors surfaced of his past remarks towards her and former cast members like Jenelle Evans in particular, when Matt took to social media before he and Amber hooked up, basically slamming a few Teen Mom stars saying, “Who cares about @ChelseaHouska she’s normal!! Get to @PBand Jenelly_1 we need the trainwreck!!! #teenmom2reunion,” Baier reportedly posted on April 22, 2014. And what about this from Baier? “Only 60 minutes until @PBandJenelley_1 makes even Americas worst moms feel good about themselves.” Yep, you guys, seems Matt was a fan of the Teen Mom girls, but not a very nice fan, because the very one he's in love with, he slammed her to, as reports revealed another tweet from Baier's past saying, “How bad is JE? Farrah does porn, Amber beat her man, Leah cheated, Chelsea is orange Kailyn looks like a frog and Jenelle trumps them all!”
Ok, so Matt said some pretty awful thing back then, but as we mentioned earlier, the past is perhaps the past, and it seems clear Amber has forgave him and a few followers of Amber seem to be okay with him as well, so why not share a happier side to their relationship when Amber takes to Twitter revealing a random funny conversation between the two when she tweets,

Yep fans seem to approve of her new boyfriend as one responded, "Ya'll are so cute!" and another saying, "sometimes guys do not get it the sandwiches are good though." But as RadarOnline reports, not everyone is on board with Amber's new man, because when Jenelle found out about his long history of Teen Mom bashing, she took to social media revealing,"To date a man as pathetic as that is sad." and also mentioning, “I’m sure the relationship won’t last the way he acts, probably treats her the same! RadarOnline made mention that while Amber's family is slowly warming up to her being with an older man with a criminal record, and insider revealed the family is impressed with Matt, because he has treated her very nicely since the passing of her dad Shawn Sr, and seems to be helping her get through things.
