Teen Mom 2 Corey Simms, the father of Leah Messer's twin
daughters, Ali and Aleeah, is furious with MTV producers.
According to RadarOnline, Corey who was often seen last season calling his ex-wife, Leah Messer, out on her alleged drug problem, says he feels that MTV has intentionally tried to make him look bad. As a result of MTV's actions, Corey and his wife Miranda have now decided to spend less time being attached to the show's drama.
A source close to Corey claims, "Corey feels MTV did him dirty,” adding, “He [Corey] thinks they had the perfect opportunity to show viewers, ‘This is what happens when you get on drugs, this is the reality.’ Instead, they made it seem like Corey was constantly attacking Leah for no reason.”
Reportedly Corey went head-to-head with the show's producers about the issue. “Corey told MTV just what he thought about the situation, and said that he and Miranda would not film nearly as much as in past seasons,” the source revealed, mentioning that the "Producers understood."

ReplyDeleteActually when mtv does all the editing it does show them to look like they are being dicks. How do you honestly thing mtv keeps ratings up? Leah was clearly on drugs. You can tell plain as day that she is/was.

DeleteI agree to. You don't see him falling asleep holding a child or walking around town out of his mind. Doctor prescribed doesn't make it right period. And Leah didn't do it just once. People that live in the same town as them know what the truth is. He needs to pull his consent and get his daughters out of that spotlight Leah insists they be in for money. My child goes to their school and thankfully we don't have mtv on our cable here in our county but those with sat dishes can still get it(or Hulu) and apparently kids even at their young age already ask these poor girls questions about being in the show.

ReplyDeleteHe made Leah seem like a druggy but if you listened to what she said about what the doctors told her about the side effects then you will understand. Leah is doing her best as a single mom of three kids. I don't se why Corey is being a dick when Jeremy and Leah are co-parenting just fine. He needs to understand what's happening to her instead of attacking her
ReplyDeleteHe didn't "make Leah" look like anything. She does that herself in how she was everyday. People who see her around town where she lives saw it. Thankfully she has straightened herself out and I hope she continues but you can not say someone is making another out to look bad when their actions are an everyday thing that her neighbors and others around our small town saw first hand. He tried to ask her about it several times(more than shown on tv) with her denying it. He tried to assist and it hurt him to have to file for full custody but he had to do what was best. After Leah got treatment and got herself better than he agreed to shared parenting once again so how does that make him a jerk?
DeleteWe will never know but what we see on tv. I did read an articlet saying out of all the team mom's leads house was the worst,and filthy too. But then again that is Internet here say. Weather or not she was on drugs or not,her kids being late time after time to school and missed doc appointments,Cory should have them. Leah needs a break,not saying her kids shold be taking from her but,I myself have had depression problems too,and sometimes being stress free is all that helps. Leah is one of my favortex corey and her are both good parent's in their own way.

DeleteHa not only that but he makes her put them in school 45 minutes from her (it's more convenient for him) then holds her being late against her. I use to like him but that's a shitty thing to do. She needs to quit being scared of making him mad and do what she needs to do to make things more convenient for her.

ReplyDeleteLoving how everyone calls Cory a dick for being a good dad. Do you all know Cory personally? Do you know what he has been and what he does for his girls? I think and know(personally) that he is an amazing father who is trying to do what is right for his daughters. And if you have a problem with that then your a pathetic piece of crap. You should see him out with his daughters as opposed to Leah out with them. HUGE difference. And he is the same without cameras as he is with cameras. Just wanting what's best for his daughters. My kids go to school with his daughters so I have seen it personally. If I was him I'd pull my consent for my children to be on the show period. Who wants to grow up being known as "those twins from that teen mom show"...

ReplyDeleteSo here's my thing I have always tried to defend Leah often thinking people just don't know how stressful it is to have a sick child however I work full time overnight and have a severely mentally ill child and yet I don't get high like that and that's with being on antidepressants if they make you that bad your on to much. Not only that but when the girls start saying they want to be with daddy and Miranda because they do the things she doesn't do. When the girls day you don't care about our lunch or picking us up there is a serious problem.
ReplyDeleteMTV did make it out that he was constantly attacking her plus what Leah said on TV but he has a right to be concerned and (attack) her in my opinion when your kids' safety and well being is in question and when the girls say things like they did the other night on TV there is a serious problem. I bet he flipped when he saw what was aired last season her falling asleep talking on the phone and holding and driving with her children. I hope she's better but I'm not sure it will last BC she will get stressed again. Just glad they have Corey and Miranda. Jeremy can't take his kid full time which is why he doesn't go for custody but I bet he wasn't happy either.
ReplyDeleteDid everyone not see and hear what her children were saying just the other night on the show while she was nodding off while driving them to school LATE. I am a recovering addict myself and have 4 yrs and 7 months clean. So I know what it is like. But anyway.. Her children were saying how every time they are with her they never eat breakfast and have to get a hot lunch because she never gets them a lunch. If she wasn't an addict she would make sure to have them a lunch the night before or wake up early enough to stop and get them a lunch. My son that I don't have custody of (I lost went I went to prison) will stay at my house on school night and he lives an hour and a half away and the that's were he goes to school, and we make it there EALRY. we have to wait for them to open the school. And that's with getting my older daughter off to school before I take him. And I have 2 little ones under age 4. So it's no excuse. Corey wants the best for his girls and that for the moment isn't with her until she gets the help she needs and has a little sobriety under her belt. You don't think that teen mom edits what he has to say to make it look like he's bashing her? I live hundreds of miles away and I could see that. Right now what needs to be done is for the best interest of her children.. All of them not just the twins. They will thank her in the end. My oldest daughter does. Being clean is more rewarding then being late nodding off while driving with precious cargo in that car.
